“Autobots… Roll out”…

Aiden brought his VE SSV Ute “UNICRON” back to us wanting to give it a new look for the 2021 Supanova Expo on December 11th & 12th 2021 with a custom Transformers themed wrap.

He is a huge Transformers fan – and we had previously done some small additions for him (custom printed Transformers themed stripes and rear one-way vision) – but this time he wanted to go all out and wrap his car in something much more detailed.

He gave us the keys and left the rest to us. Working with the extremely talented Cris from Frank Ricci Design again – we discussed the brief and what was created in the end was something incredibly detailed and perfectly suited to the car.

We took advantage of the car being white – and designed the artwork such that it would easily flow with the unwrapped panels – so we printed this on 3M 180mc-114 clear wrap film using our Mimaki UCJV300 printer and applied the wrap to both sides and the rear. Cris hinted a suggestion – ‘what about the wheels…?’ I said let’s do that too! So we also designed graphics for the wheels, and wrapped them as well to complete the look.
